RF Level Switch is designed to provide accurate and reliable point level (High and Low Level) information of Solids (Powders and Lumps), Liquids and Slurry stored in vessels and tanks. The electronics consist of an oscillator, adetector and an output relay which is controlled by the detector. The probe contains an active section and a shield section insulated from each other and from the vessel ground. Most conventional sensors give a false indication when coated due to build up. These Level Sensors are designed to ignore any such build-up or coating.

Applications:

• Point level detection and process control for solid, liquid and slurry materials

• Used in bins, vessels, tanks, chutes and conveyors

• Plastics, chemicals, coal/fly ash, concrete, food ingredients, pharmaceuticals, feed, grain, mining, foundries, wood or paper processing, many other materials

Remote Unit:

Seperate Electronic Controller and probe with interconnecting cable  ( with High/Low Level Alarm)

Integral Unit:

Electronics and Probe as a single unit (with High/Low Level Alarm)

Multi Set Point Unit:

Remote or Integral Unit with a 2 or 3 Set points for linearly grading the tank based on set points. 

Digital Display Type Level Switch:

Remote Digital Display Unit providing a LED Display and Keypad for calibration replacing the potentiometer for the purpose. Allows easy setting, calibration result can be quantified and troubleshooting becomes easy

The radar uses 80GHz Frequency Modulated ContinuousWave.The FMCW radar emits a high frequency signal whosefrequency increases linearly during the measurementphase (called the frequency sweep). The signal is emitted,reflected from the measuring surface and receivedwith a time delay, t. Delay time, t=2d/c, where d is thedistance to the product surface and c is the speed oflight in the gas above the product. For further signal processing the difference is calculated from theactual transmit frequency and the receive frequency.The difference is directly proportional to the distance.
